It is understood that the new standards, the introduction of the "safety protection device, emergency rescue device, well safety door and trap door, drive host, car, floor door and car door, electrical control device" and other 13 items on the safe operation of the elevator major components scrap technical conditions. The new standard makes it clear that mechanical damage (such as cracking, deformation), abnormal wear, rust, material aging, electrical failure, electrical component damage and other 6 kinds of failure or potential failure modes that affect safe operation are taken as the technical conditions for the parts to be scrapped, which provides a technical basis for the parts to be scrapped when there are risks and hidden dangers. It is helpful to improve the operation safety and service life of elevator equipment by scrapping the main components with failure or potential failure risk.

The person in charge pointed out that the implementation of the standard will produce greater economic and social benefits.
